Greetings from Australia. I am enjoying telling the story of my family member f?SGT Dudley Raymond BEINKE (aka born KLOEDEN) whom on his 14 mission aged 21 years and one month old lost his life in JUN1942; with Samira Claeys. We Aussies like to stick with our mates. Dudleys friend Cheese is also buried along side of him. Please when anyone visits Dudley don't Leave Cheese out and share your visit with him. They flew a lot of missions together and now buried together... Mates For Ever in a field of Stone. LEST WE FORGET.

Thank you so much for your care. We have just reconnected with the memory of Walter because of the Monuments Men movie. We are so proud of him and grateful to you for attending to a grave when we cannot. Walter was my father's cousin. Their fathers were brothers and Lutheran Ministers who ran a church together in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Subject: Margraten

My mother was from Broeksittard and cared for two serviceman's graves at Margraten as a young girl before coming to the States in 1952. So I am familiar with the Nederlanders commitment to maintaining the cemetery. Thank you Marlie, Huub, and Peter for your dedication and this website.

Walter was my grandfather's cousin. I have just found out that you have adopted his gravesite in Margraten and am so touched and grateful. He is buried so very far from home. It seems he is still bringing people across the world together. Again, thank you.
